Essential details
UNS N07041 - Haynes R-41 is a nickel-based alloy with strength and ductility perfect for gas turbine engine parts. Solution annealing and heat treatments further improve the alloy's strength, up to 1800°F (649 to 982°C). It's as strong as 18-8 stainless steel but more resistant to forming, making it ideal for drop hammers, expanding mandrels and stretch forming.
